Windward Baseball is the proud home of Ed Schutte, Head Coach of Georgia Permiter College Lady Panthers.
Coach Schutte has coached numerous top level softball players in college today. He has also lead several teams to the American Softball Association (ASA) and National Softball Association (NSA) softball national championships. Coach Schutte is highly respected as one of the best softball coaches in the country.
Entering his fifth season as head coach at Georgia Perimeter College, Ed Schutte led the Lady Jaguars to 34 wins in 2005, the most under Schutte's tenure, and a third place finish in the distinguished Lead-Off Classic. The team was also ranked No. 24 in the nation. With seven returning starters, three of whom were All-Region selections last season, the Jaguars should be equally as strong in 2006. Schutte boasts and overall record of 110-70, with regional tournament berths all four years.
Never satisfied with the status of his program, Schutte continues to recruit only the best student athletes and improve his facility, with the goal of winning a national championship.
