Coach Howie McCann is the former head baseball coach at Marshall University and former assistant baseball coach at the University of Georgia in Athens. Coach McCann played college at Mississsippi State University. Coach McCann has developed a reputation as one of the most excellent hitting instructors as well as one of the country's best college recruiters!
Coach McCann brings to the instructional field his experience in professional baseball, eighteen years of college coaching experience, along with a Master's Degree in Admin. Education and Recreation from Louisiana State Universtiy. With Coach McCann's expereince from along the East Coast, from Georgia to New York State, Coach McCann has helped many players obtain college scholarships that otherwise would not have been available!
Howie is married to Sherry McCann and has two sons Brad McCann (Kansas City Royals) and All-Star Atlanta Braves' Catcher Brian McCann (below).
